Break-in for New Brushes
After installing new brush filaments, run the brush at 50% of its normal operating speed for 1–2 hours. This allows the filament tips to wear evenly, preventing excessive localized breakage caused by immediate full-load operation.
Daily Cleaning and Maintenance
After each operation, use a high-pressure water jet or compressed air to flush outward from the base of the filaments, thoroughly removing foreign objects such as plastic bags, metal debris, and hair.
Scrub stubborn stains with a neutral detergent; do not use strong acids, strong alkalis, or solvent-based products, as these can corrode the filaments or damage the functional coating of specialized filaments.
For metal-filament brushes, blow-dry completely after cleaning and apply a thin layer of anti-rust oil to metal components to prevent corrosion.
After cleaning, store brush discs upright and suspend long brush rollers horizontally by their shaft ends to prevent the filaments from flattening or deforming due to prolonged pressure.
Periodic Inspection Routine
Visually inspect filament wear uniformity weekly; adjust the brush disc angle promptly if localized bald spots are detected.
Measure the remaining filament length monthly; plan for replacement once wear exceeds one-third of the original length.
Conduct a comprehensive quarterly inspection of the brush disc's dynamic balance, bearing lubrication, and fastener tightness to prevent eccentric operation from accelerating wear.
